Our client is looking for a best of breed Technical Support Escalation Manager to provide technical direction and high quality technical support and solutions to their key clients and accounts trouble shooting cases. As the Technical Support Escalation Manager you will be responsible for supporting the customers of this global leader with A1 courteous and timely technical email and phone support as well as documenting all technical enquiries in the customer tracking database as well as updating your clients on their account status you should also be able to ensure your accounts are running smoothly at all times your role will involve troubleshooting and solving daily issues in a diplomatic and professional manner and escalation of these issues to the appropriate team if you can t find the answer yourself and you should also be flexible in undertaking assigned projects from senior personel. Essential Selection Criteria to meet Degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related. 1 to 2 years or so in an It 2nd and 3rd level helpdesk or client technical support role. Wide knowledge of Ldap Directories Tcp Ip Servers and Firewalls. Strong understanding of Smtp and Mta s. Familiarity with Windows server operating systems networks and Unix both Linux or Solaris. The right person will need to be incredibly organised have the ability to multi task be articulate and have a good sense of humour with friendly interpersonal skills.
