Our Client is a worldwide leader in investment banking and is ranked among the top institutions in mergers and acquisitions underwriting of equity and equity-related transactions high yield debt financing and corporate debt issuance. First point of contact for the prime brokerage intermediation clients and brokers Ensuring confirmation of clients trades through Isda trade documentation Moving clients onto the Dtcc automated confirm matching platform Settlement of trade cash flows Checking matching and reconciliation of client trade details Client query resolution Assist develop and manage enhancements to the product and business Trade check with internal counterparties with in Fid Assist develop and manage enhancements to the product and business Trade check with internal counterparties with in Fid Assisting and liaison with controllers ops documentation and legal with any queries and providing them with any information concerning the deals done Skills Experience The successful candidate will be a quick learner organized and control focused They will have strong analytical skills be pro-active in their approach to tasks and have outstanding communication skills Due to the client facing nature of the role the ability to prioritise effectively and work well under pressure is essential The candidate will benefit from having existing knowledge of credit derivative products and processes The role involves interaction with the clients prime brokerage reps trading desks sales and other operational areas therefore communication skills are of high importance The role involves an array of technical tasks therefore the ability to multitask prioritise and switch between the tasks is the hallmark of a successful individual in this role The candidate should have a thorough understanding of fixed income products and what prime brokerage means strong process knowledge would also be desirable Training will also be provided.
