Our client is a top tier investment bank. Currently ranked fourth largest in Europe for stockholders equity and has the second-largest stock market capitalisation of all Euro-zone banks. The individual will be required to establish close working relationships with both Front Office and other areas of support e.g. Bo It allowing for an integrated and proactive approach to the business requirements understanding the lifecycles of the products traded and the systems and reporting mechanisms required to enable full control and accurate and appropriate information to be supplied. Close liaison with the trading floor to ensure the timely and efficient resolution of trader queries Liaise with other operation functions and other infrastructure groups to support a one team approach Take a can-do approach to enhance relationships Ensure appreciation of different support requirements for traders back office and P L teams Resolve all issues conflicts in a timely and customer orientated fashion Adhere to deadlines and objectives Skills Experience An understanding of and the ability to book all relevant derivative and hedging products (credit default swaps interest rate swaps basket products options and transactions of an exotic nature e.g. Cdo Understand the cashflows of the business and ensuring that these are accurately recorded on a daily basis Understanding of the front to back operations process to include major elements of settlement.
