Macs is a division within Institutional Securities Operations Group (Isg) and in addition to the controls team covers the Client Services Group Collateral Management Listed Derivatives Network Management and International Prime Brokerage Operations departments. This control team is a new team that is being set up to better control the business our processes and client confidentiality. This team is and will continue to receive significant attention from senior management especially in the start up phase. There is currently a temporary position available for an individual at the analyst associate level within the controls team. The successful candidate will join the team of 7 and be responsible for ensuring client confidentiality. As this is a new team the individuals will be required to work extensively with other teams in the Macs function. This will enable the team to iron out any teething issues that arise over the initial months as the team ramps up volume. The role will have good exposure to internal clients in the other Macs teams on a daily basis. As such the candidate will be required to build good relationships with these areas. One of the key requirements in this role is attention to detail particularly during busy pressurized time periods. The role can be broken down into High level of attention to detail Ensuring client sensitive data is distributed to the correct client Providing a smooth fast and efficient service to internal clients Working with internal clients to understand their requirements anomalies etc. Ensure that there is timely and informed escalation of client issues Build strong relationships with internal clients Ensuring effective handovers with Asia and America at the start and end of day respectively Skills Experience Degree level or equivalent Candidate should be able to organise themselves efficiently keep track of multiple outstanding items and meet tight deadlines Strong interpersonal and relationship skills being able to communicate clearly and concisely Demonstration in their past work experience of high attention to detail Candidate should be a self-starter with the ability to work either on their own initiative as well as be a solid team player
