A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Statutory and regulatory reporting Manager to join the lucrative wealth management team of a leading UK Bank. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic commercially orientated accountant to provide financial business support to UK Wealth Management. Reporting to the Wealth Management Finance Director and leading a team of 7 the key challenges of the role are as follows Monthly reporting of certain areas of Wealth Management results to demanding deadlines as required to meet UKwm UKrb and Group reporting processes. Financial accounting including ensuring accuracy and integrity of legal entity P&Ls and balance sheets review of statutory accounts statutory-management accounts reconciliations and provision of explanations and analyses for external auditors preparation of briefings for legal entity Board meetings on statutory accounts regulatory policies update of regulatory Review of regulatory reporting to Bank of England the Fsa and Group Finance (in respect of Basel Ii and Irr) as prepared by the Fssc. This involves sense and accuracy checks as well as challenge around interpretation of regulatory requirements.
