The clients of the firm s Financial Services Division include some of the world s major insurers and the Division has an enviable reputation for its position and status within the London insurance market. We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Manager seeking rapid progression to join this dynamic and innovative team. Whilst the Division is biased towards the London insurance market you could also be involved in auditing fund managers money brokers venture capitalists and hedge fund managers. Coupled with the wealth of special assignments the firm is involved in including corporate finance reporting litigation support due diligence investigations and internal audit reviews working in the Fs Division will provide you with a diverse range of experience a busy timetable and high degree of responsibility. Responsibilities will include Client Managing all stages of the audit and advising the partner on audit opinion Managing audit teams and reviewing their work Identifying business opportunities from existing clients and supporting initiatives to develop new business opportunities Project work Assisting an Fs firm which is a household name with an Fsa investigation. Assisting a large company in tracing offshore assets. Arranging and negotiating acquisitions on behalf of clients Litigation support for a multi million pound court case Management Active involvement in the development of audit staff Acting as a mentor for and appraising a group of trainees To be considered for this key position with this thriving business you will Aca Acca qualified Ideally proven in audit within the Insurance Sector Demonstrate sound technical and leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively Be commercial accurate analytical and decisive in your approach Have the ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure An attractive salary and benefits package will be offered to the successful applicant
