240 Scanner Operators required for two days to assist with the London Elections The London elections are held every 4 years and there are currently over 5 million registered voters. Voting will occur on May 1st 2008 and the vote count is the following day May 2nd 2008. We currently require 240 Scanner Operators (So s) to assist with the counting and scanning of votes between 8am and 7pm on May 2nd. All So s will also be required to attend a two hour training session between April 15th and April 22nd (So s will be paid for a full day for this two hour training session) Candidates must have Good communication skills Basic It Keyboard skills Candidates must be Well presented Able to prove eligibility to work in the UK Available for two hour training session in April and full day on May 2nd The pay rate for this role is £7.50 paye and candidates must be able to get to one of the three count centres in London If you match the above requirements please do not hesitate to send your cv through as the closing date for applications is 9th April
