We are looking for a cheerful and highly competent student to join our friendly team on a full-time basis for a minimum period of 9 mths at Walpole Specialist Orthodontic Practice (w.myorthodontist.co .uk We are a well established small but successful exclusively private practice providing orthodontic treatment to both children and adults. You will complement our team if you are the sort of person who enjoys and understands the demands of working in a high quality environment. You will be able to be friendly towards our patients comfortable building rapport and managing patient demands within practice guidelines. Smart appearance and computer skills are essential. You will receive one weeks training prior to starting the job and will receive training during your work experience with us. This job would suit anyone who enjoys working with people and providing a high quality of care. It will be particularly attractive to anyone looking for work experience in dentistry or a specialist medical environment but it is not essential that this is your future area of interest. Your primary function within the practice will be to perform clinic assistant duties when patients are in the practice. Outside these hours you will be responsible for a number of administrative roles. You will be able to work for us Tuesday to Friday finishing between 5.00pm and 6.00pm as well as about 12 Saturday mornings per year (from 8.15am to 1pm) ie on average approximately 36 hours per week. Salary range £5.75 to £7.50 per hour plus 4 weeks paid holiday per year pro rata.
