Description
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with an interest in environmental issues that would like to make a real difference in a rapidly developing sector. Waste Watch is looking for up to eight Recycling Advisers to join its consultancy team from 7 July 2008 for 24 weeks to inform and introduce the compulsory recycling service to residents in the London Borough of Brent. This includes delivering information packs to residents monitoring participation and targeted doorstepping. Working in small teams the Recycling Advisers will monitor each resident s participation in Brent s compulsory recycling service and then target non-users to remove barriers and encourage full participation. Full training will be provided at the start and as required throughout the campaign. The Recycling Advisers will be expected to work 35 hours each week to the following schedule depending on the phase of the project Phase 1 Deliveries of information packs Mon to Fri 9 5pm Phase 2 Participation monitoring Mon to Fri 7 3pm Phase 3 Doorstepping Tues to Sat 11 7pm.
