When a man is sexually aroused, his body releases nitric oxide, which activates an enzyme called guanylate cyclase. This enzyme increases the levels of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP), leading to the relaxation of blood vessels in the penis. As a result, blood flow to the penile region increases, promoting an erection.

In men with ED, an enzyme called PDE5 breaks down cGMP, leading to reduced blood flow and the inability to achieve or maintain an erection. Tadalista 60 mg inhibits PDE5, allowing cGMP levels to remain elevated, and thus promoting a better blood flow to the penis, facilitating an erection.
