Tennis Channel is carried by nine of the top 10 MSOs and has a national footprint via DIRECTV and DISH Network. The Tennis Channel is seeking a Director of Accounting. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: ? Direct supervision over the general accounting, including A/P, A/R, G/L, and Payroll - with direct supervision of an Accounts Payable Supervisor (one A/P Specialist), Payroll Specialist, Senior Accountant, and Staff Accountant. ? Directly responsible for month end accounting close. ? Hands on preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, management reports, and ad hoc reporting. ? Oversee Production Accounting performed by the Staff Accountant. ? Review, implement and assess accounting and general business polices and procedures. ? Special projects as assigned. ? Maintain relationship with outside public accounting firm for independent audit services. ? Interface directly with other department heads to provide financial support and analysis. ? Manage depository relationships with financial institutions and administer the company?s electronic banking. Requirements: ? CPA or equivalent experience ? Bachelors degree in accounting ? Public accounting experience preferred ? Minimum of 5 years progressive accounting and finance experience ? Entertainment industry experience preferred ? Minimum two years Accounting Manager role ?
