SENIOR ACCOUNTANT / IMMEDIATE JOB OPENING Rapidly growing multinational consulting & software company providing breakthrough solutions to our expanding client base worldwide has an immediate opening for a Senior Accountant in our Corporate Headquarters. Responsibilities: ?Handle month-end close and day-to-day accounting functions including general ledger, journal entries, bank reconciliation, variance analysis, fixed assets, & project billing. ?Accurately record, reconcile and track all Intercompany transactions. ?Prepares account reconciliations and analysis for assigned accounts, investigates reconciling items, and prepares any resulting journal entries. ?Assist in the preparation & analysis of financial statements, management reports, budget & other pertinent information. ?Develop, implement &/or maintain accounting systems & procedures. ?Special projects & other duties to be assigned from time to time by management. Requirements: ?BS degree in Accounting (or equivalent work experience). ?Attention to details & strong work ethics. ?5+ years accounting experience with thorough understanding of revenue recognition principles (including software revenue recognition rules, contract accounting, time and expense billings, milestone billings, percentage-of-completion, retainer, unbilled and deferred accounts). ?High efficiency in Excel, professional service automation, & ERP systems. ?Industry experience in software, contracting, &/or professional service desirable. ?Strong analytical skills with ability to think critically & independently. ?Ability to recommend & implement changes to improves processes & systems. ?Hands-on experience in all facets of accounting activities in fast-paced multi-cultural environments. ?Ability to solve problems & communicate effectively at all levels. ?Foreign language skills such as Mandarin, French, Spanish or Arabic highly desirable.
