Accountant Needed (5-7 years of experience) (LAX area)

In search of an accountant for a growing start-up company located in the El Segundo and Hawthorne areas with a very fresh and vibrant environment. 5+ years experience required. There is room for growth as the company expands. Pay is $55, 000 to $70, 000 depending upon experience. The position would report to the Controller and General Manager. Dress code is business casual. Please read below for responsibilities and requirements. Job Duties: Responsible for the monthly financial statements, all reconciliations, budgeting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, data entry of accounts receivable and accounts payable, and tracking sales, as well as special projects to be determined by the Controller. As the company is a start up, there is some clean up that is needed, so there is a need to bring accounts payable up to date and some reclassification of accounts receivable. Requirement s: -Minimum of 5 years accounting experience -Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business Administration with an accounting or finance emphasis, or Finance -Must be energetic, able to hit the ground running, detail oriented, and a fast learner -Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel -Proficient with Quickbooks -TFBO software is preferred, but not required if the applicant is good with learning new programs and technology If you think you have the education, experience, and personality for this position, please submit your resume to Natalie at natalie@weemployyou.net.
