Our Analysts handles all follow up for claims payment compliance, rebills and contested claims awaiting lawfully requested information. Analysts will be responsible for sending Compliance Audits and securing claims status determination for the regulatory appeal and complaint process. Responsibilities include, and are not limited to: ? Performs follow-up and claims compliance of all insurance and third-party payor balances: written inquiries, telephone calls, meetings, and online inquiries with insurance companies, Medicare, Medicaid, patients, charity organizations, and other payors. ? Reviews and resolves medical claims. ? Analyzes accounts and reconciles balances. ? Interacts with both insurance companies and patients in explaining charges, prompt pay laws and payor requirements. Candidates must possess: ? A vocational degree in medical billing, coding; or a high school diploma or GED with at least 1 year medical provider experience. ? PC skills in a Windows environment are required. Knowledge and utilization of desktop applications to include Word and Excel is essential. ? Great communication and typing skill (40wpm.) ? Ability to begin and follow through on projects and work independently with minimal supervision required. ? ABILITY TO MEET TARGETS AND DEADLINES. ? Interpersonal Skills ?
